Sharon is right, starting a new business on opposite sides of the US is challenging SOOOOOOOO we will definetly be coming out to California late July to get everything up and running. Once we are started it should be easy to maintain from afar. We are thrilled to see our dear friends and a new part of California. Also the hair clip or bow vote is hard for me, I like them both but these days I lean toward clips. My daughter, Athena, use to always wear bows but she prefers flower clips these days. Speaking of Athena she can't wait to see Sharon's two Dylan and Jack. California and pixie bows here we come!!!

Customer Service

While we have been working on getting our line put together we have been trying out new vendors to supply us with all the different elements we need to create hair bows and flower clips. I have been horrified by how some people run their business and it makes me wonder how they are still in business and what has happened to customer service? We waited 4 weeks for one item from a vendor we had hoped would be a long term supplier. I called them twice and emailed several times without a response, not until I put in a request through Paypal to get my money back did the package arrive. Now would it be so hard to email us back or call us back and just let us know they are back ordered etc. If they had taken the 5 mins to do that we would have used them going forward but how can we trust a company who has so little respect for those who are keeping them going?

Then on the flip side of that are some vendors who are beyond amazing! And we look forward to working with them long term and solidifying a great working relationship. I truly am amazed at how wonderful they are - so Thank-you to all of you!

So what we have learned from this is that for us customer service will be everything! We want our customers to be 100% happy with their purchase and with our communication with them and hopefully along with our great product we will have no choice but to grow and succeed.

Bi-Coastal Business

Holly lives in Georgia and I live in Southern California so trying to get our little business up and running is proving to be a little challenging. We want to finalize our product line and that is hard when you are trying to imagine what each other has designed. We have been using Skype quite a bit to assist in this development stage but is not proving to be enough, SO, I think Holly might make a trip out to visit me so we can sit down and really focus on getting our hair bows, flower clips and felt clips designed Plus get photos done of all our product for the website. I know right now it is a big "MAYBE" but just the thought that I might get to see my best friend and business partner soon is so exciting. What is even more exciting is that since I last saw Holly she had a baby boy and he is just beyond adorable in the pictures I have seen. I just want to hold him and cuddle him. Holly's husband might come out with her and then the guys can watch the kids while we sit down and get work done. Well we will keep you all updated on whether this will all transpire or not but if it does you can be guaranteed that we will have some exciting product to show you soon!!
