Hair Clips, friends and good times........

Well it has been a week since I dropped Holly off at the airport after her whirlwind two weeks here. We got a lot accomplished and had a fun time at the same time. We did get our crocheted flowers and LOVE THEM!! Cannot wait for them to be revealed at our launch the end of October, we have added a little bling to them and gosh are they cute. Dylan, my little girl, had one of the proto types in her hair at the beach and it got lots of ohhhhh's and aahhhhhh's.

Holly and I did not get to doing photos like we had scheduled due to too many guests from out of town arriving at the end of her stay, so we ran out of time. We are wanting to get great product shots and have bought some equipment to hopefully help get them right, as at the moment the photos we are taking are not giving the product justice, which is sad as they are so beyond cute in real life. We are then also trying to get great lifestyle shots, this is more fun but yet more challenging as we both have such high expectations of what we want them to look like. I know it will all come together in the end, just need to keep working at it.

One week and we have done so much.....

Holly arrived 1 week ago and we have been busy bees. From trying to keep 4 children happy and entertained 24/7 to getting our product line finalized. We are almost there, we noticed some big gaps while working on it so we are waiting on some last minute supply orders so we can wrap up. We are very excited about a lady we are commissioning to make crocheted flowers for us, she is wonderful and we can't wait to see her product, she is rushing to get them to us by Friday.

Our First Give-Away!!

We are very excited to do our first give-away! We will be giving away a Pink Gingham Snappie with a Pink Sparkle Flower (image appears slightly larger than real life). These are perfect for a new baby or that little girl with very fine hair. It is just too adorable for words. It has velcro added for extra hold and all the ends are heat sealed to prevent fraying.

As Sharon said we are sooooo excited to be heading out to California!! We have so much work to do and I am thrilled for her and the kids to finally meet Elijah. We are no strangers to travel, Athena and I, but it will be a new adventure with Elijah in tow as well. As we were discussing the other day our products will be unique since Sharon and I, though similar in taste these days, were raised in radically different parts of the world with totally different career backgrounds. I think this shows in our product lines and makes each clip/bow that more eye catching. I hope you will enjoy reading about our journeys as much as the latest update on Pixie Bows.
